REALLY did the steel playing by Eddie Lange on this album. Clean, tasty, well placed, and tone that is clearly configured to match the genre/retro vibe./

I dig him any time I see / hear him. This body of work is special. The title cut “Mr. Jukebox” pays his age to the style of early Lloyd Green and Hal Rugg (in my opinion).

Make no mistake Eddie knows what he is doing. I can only imaging how much fun he had on this album.

I agree, one weekend in Nashville I saw him at breakfast at Johnny Cash’s, then at the Opry with Bill Anderson and then at Roberts with Josh. He gets around and sounds amazing whoever he is with. Spot on….

That's country steel playing. The twin fiddles and good playing by all the players. Sounds great. Nice to see a Nashville artist doing this kind of country, and doing it without the drums being over the top.
