Sho-Bud Maverick Pull Rods

Post by Ron Wendler »

The Sho-Bud Maverick that I have has the pull rods out of it. I'm trying to figure out where they go. What changers does A connect to, B and C. The rods are gone from C so I have to make them. download/file.php?mode=view&id=8351

A pedal 5th and 10th string B to C#.
B pedal 3rd and 6th string G# to A
C pedal 4th string E to F#. 5th string B to C#.

The Maverick had a triangle shaped Single/Double tree piece that went on the, Bell Crank hook, Attached to the cross shaft. PSP in Texas may have them.

For A&B pedals, Pull rods went on ends of the triangle, The single/double swiveled as the strings pulled to note. Some people say you want to use a wound 6th .022 string so 3&6 pull closer together.

If I remember right ??. C pedal had a smaller single/double tree that hooked on the Bell Crank hook for 4th & 5th strings.

Good Luck in this project, Happy Steelin.

Bobby, Thank you Thank you. I have been searching all over for this information. I have the tree things, just didn't have them in picture. The Maverick is a different horse compared to newer PSGs but simple for old farts like me.
