Pedal Steel techs for repair in NW

Post by Leif Nicklas »

Can anyone point me to a pedal steel tech in the pacific northwest that I can send my steel to? I live in southern Oregon. Thank you!

I'm very new here and this is secondhand information, but a guy in Pendleton told me last week there's a dude up in Seattle with a repair shop called "ten string sad machine". Try looking that up!

Leif, check with Larry Behm, he lives in Portland and he is frequently on the forum here, He can possibly point you in the right direction for a steel tech in the area. We recently lost Lynn Stafford, but there may be others in your area, or at least in Portland.

Patrick Timmons in West Seattle does great work on PSGs. He did some adjustments and set up changes on my Jackson and did a great job! Really a pleasant guy to work with too. He’s got a lot of nice metal fabrication equipment and expertise, so can tackle tougher repairs / parts fab. In addition to the email provided by Mr. Lipsey, Patrick is on SGF as well.
