Walking after midnight
Hello all. I'm going to be playing my third run of Always, Patsy Cline in Jan. Thru Apr. I've never been real happy about my playing on the intro.. I'm an E9 only guy. Can someone furnish me a way to sound like her original version? BTW Roger, When I'm done with this run, that will be about 100 shows. Nowhere near your number Roger-700 shows. Holy smokers!!...Ron

Thx Dan. The kind of thing he is using, is what I've been doing.
The quality on recordings of that day, Patsy's day, and the methods used, were so bad, you can't even hear where the upright bass goes for the second chord. We go to a G#9 but I think a nice F7th would work nicely also. Like I said, not being able to hear the bass- I think he drops out- certainly doesn't give you a clue. RP
