Re: NEW Peavey Nashville/Session Amp coming soon
Hi Bill, I'm just seeing your post now. My question is (is the 115 head the same as the 112? Or are they two different 200-watt circuits, given that the 15 has a 4-ohm speaker and the 12 has an 8-ohm one? Can you see a photo of the back of both to see what their outputs and inputs are? Thanks a lot, Francesco.Bill Ferguson wrote: 23 Jan 2025 10:52 am I have just been released to show the new Peavey Nashville-Session 112 or 115 amp.
Production is tenatively scheduled for June 2025.
I am receiving my Prototype 112 today and will report soon.
This is a 200w (digital) amp that is switchable to have the traditional Nashville preamp or the traditional Session preamp.
The pots will be of a much higher quality that previously used in Peavey Amps.
The reverb is digital, custom designed for this amp and is switchable for Plate or Spring.
The 115 is a Celestion Neo designed for this amp.
The 112 is a Celestion designed for this amp.

I'm using the 15"version of this amp...not the 12"...
I always use a 15"speaker,even with electric guitar...
Best,

I switched my order the the Peavey Session 115 instead of the 112. Due in December and on sale plus a few additional discounts from my dealer. This will leave me with a Tone X pedal, Fender Steel King and the Session 115.

Re: NEW Peavey Nashville/Session Amp coming soon
Hi Francesco. I asked Bill the same question last spring. I believe he said that they were the same head. The cabinet dimensions are the same with the exception that thr 12 inch version is slightly shorter (same width) therefore the amp chassis is the same form factor as well. Personally I think the 15 might sound better in that cabinet than the 12Francesco Porcu wrote: 22 Sep 2025 7:07 amHi Bill, I'm just seeing your post now. According to the Peavey web site both amps weight 27 pounds. Sweetwater has the Session 115 at 1.1 pounds lighter than the Session 112. The 115 is not much bigger physically and with the weight being the same I prefer the larger speaker.

Hi Greg, I'm also going to buy the 115. I've always had 12-inch cabinets, but now I want to build a rig with the 15-inch cabinet. I'll remove the head from the 15-inch cabinet and insert it into my rig. I'll also build a separate cabinet for the 15-inch speaker. This will share the weight and size, and I'll have my rig by my side during the gig for total control over the tones, etc.Greg Cutshaw wrote: 15 Oct 2025 6:43 am According to the Peavey web site both amps weight 27 pounds. No photos of the rear panel have been posted to show what inputs or outputs it has, such as POWER IN, FX LOOP.

I believe Bill said the baffle is no longer a glue in , but a bolt in baffle. My thoughts are , that if someone orders a 15”, and for whatever reason wanted a 12”, you could swap out the baffle. Of course this would require making one. I’m on the list for the 15. When I heard them at the Dallas show there was very little difference in tone.

Re: NEW Peavey Nashville/Session Amp coming soon
Ronald, do you know if the head only drives a 4 ohm cabinet or even an 8 ohm one? Can I connect an additional cabinet or does it only have one output for a single speaker? Thanks FrancescoRonald Sikes wrote: 15 Oct 2025 9:02 am I believe Bill said the baffle is no longer a glue in , but a bolt in baffle.
