It's been a long time since I've posted on the forum. I've really been out of the steel guitar loop for about twenty years. Wow! It looks like the non-pedal steel is exploding in popularity. I notice many younger (under 50 ) people getting in to it as well. This is very good news.
I am getting a double neck six-string soon and was wondering if there are any new flat wound strings on the market. I have been using D'Adarrio Chromes. I've been happy with them and they are easy to find in online stores.
Anyway... anything new in this very small flat wound world?
